Alhambra dazzles in South Africa
11/06/2007
Alhambra continues with its policy of developing foreign markets.
For that reason, the company has recently launched its collections in South Africa. That country is experiencing an important growth in its economy due to the proximity of the Football World Cup, its political stability, the increase of income generated by the tourism industry, and the investment of foreign capital.
With the presence of the Marketing Director, Javier Poveda, and the Area Manager, Sauro Doria, Alhambra carried out the official presentation of the company and its collections in South Africa through 12 events intended to professionals and the press. The events took place in the cities of Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town. After a relevant market research, Alhambra reached an agreement with the prestigious company Home Fabrics, which has its headquarters in Johannesburg and is one of the main commercial dealers in the country. The collections of Alhambra dazzled the almost 150 clients of the main cities in the country, as well as the representatives of the 15 most important magazines of the sector.
Alhambra aims at becoming the reference in the textile-decoration market in South Africa. In order to achieve that, together with Home Fabrics, an ambitious launch policy has been developed. Such policy has been received with great delight by clients.
